IN HIS OWN WORDS & PICTURES

Manny’s Corner

Stories from Palm Springs, treasured with love.

IN LOVING MEMORY

Manuel “Manny” Montoya

Manny shared stories from his 45 years in the music business, working with artists and entertainers including Merle Haggard, Janet Jackson, Sylvester Stallone, Olivia Newton-John, Herb Alpert, Julio Iglesias, Shakin’ Stevens and the Osmonds.

We had hoped to continue Manny’s Corner together, with many more stories still to tell. He passed away before we could. We treasure the moments he shared with us and keep them here in his memory.

Manny will always hold a special place in our story. He brought Zelimir together with Chan Romero—the writer and original performer of the rock ’n’ roll anthem “Hippy Hippy Shake”—and made that historic moment happen for all of us.

With love, Marian & Zelimir
